Books
Books purchased from Advanstar Communications Inc. may be returned for a refund subject to the
following conditions:

Book(s) includes only printed and bound literary compositions or Audio CD ROMs, physically shipped to an Advanstar Communications Inc. customer. The definition of ‘book(s)” does not include purchased digital or audio (downloadable) content such as research, data, reports, documents, audio seminars, webinars delivered electronically to an Advanstar Communications Inc. customer.

A book or Audio CD ROM must be returned in its original condition, meaning the condition the book/audio CD Rom was in at the time of the customer’s receipt of the product along with a written request for a refund. CD's, videos and other electronic disk products must be returned in the original protective packaging or no refund will be given. (Defective CD's, videos, and other electronic disk products will be replaced.).

Customer must: (i) return the product in accordance with the terms of this Return Policy; (ii) return the product to the return center address:

Returns must be made within thirty (30) days of customer’s invoice receipt.

Refunds will be made to a customer in the form of the original payment method within sixty (60) days of Advanstar receipt of the returned product.

Bulk orders of 10 or more products are not returnable.

Digital Products (downloadable)
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item to us within 14 days for a full refund (minus shipping/handling). All refund requests for Digital Products (downloadable) must be submitted in writing by fax to 218-740-6347 or mail to Advanstar Communications/Institute of Validation Technology, ATTN: Industry Matter, 131 W 1st St, Duluth MN 55802-2065. If you purchased a downloadable electronic document, please wipe it from your computer's hard drive and destroy any printed copies. Then send a signed letter to the address above indicating you have done so and requesting a refund. Your letter must be postmarked within five business days of the date you placed your order for your refund request to be honored.

CONFERENCE Payment - All registrations must be paid in full by credit card. If you wish to pay by check, please download the event brochure and follow the instructions on registration form for submitting by fax or mail. Registrations received without payment will not be processed.

CONFERENCE Cancellations/Substitutions - Your registration form may be transferred to a member of your organization at any time. Requests for cancellations (by mail or fax). Each event has a unique cancellation date, please see event brochure for specific dates. All cancellations are subject to a $325.00 processing fee. IVT reserves the right to cancel an event. IVT is not responsible for any airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by registrants. Speakers subject to change without notice.
